How to Reach ESCOM Chimie

From Paris

  1. By the A1, exit at exit No. 9 "Compiègne Sud - Pont Sainte Maxence".
  2. Immediately after the toll, at the 1st roundabout, take the "Compiègne" direction for 12 km.
  3. Spend three roundabouts always going straight ahead, heading for downtown.
  4. At the 5th roundabout, go straight ahead, direction Intermarché.
  5. At the 6th "Angélique" roundabout, go straight (second exit) rue Pierre and Marie Curie.
  6. At the junction with the lights, always go straight.
  7. At the last roundabout (the 7th) "Guy Deniélou", take the 1st on the right: "Centre de recherche Pierre Guillaumat".
  8. Then 1st on the left, the ESCOM Chemistry is indicated: Rue Eugénie Louis.
  9. Continue for 300 metres in Eugénie Louis Street, then 1st right rue Jean-Marie Buckmaster.

Trains to Compiègne depart from Paris Gare du Nord (Paris Nord) and can be easily reached via the subway: RATP Metro Map.

The first train to Compiègne usually departs around 6:30 AM, and the last one around 10:30 PM. For more information and to check the exact timetable (available in English), please visit the SNCF website.

Where to Buy Train Tickets at Gare du Nord:

  1. Online: Depending on your credit card, electronic tickets (e-tickets) may be available for purchase online.
  2. At the Station: You can buy tickets at the main counter (located on floor 0 in front of the platforms) or at the SNCF vending machines, which accept credit cards. Look for machines labeled "Grandes Lignes" (national lines), located on floor 0 and floor -1.
  1. From Orly Airport: It takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes by taxi or 2 hours by train. For the train option, take the ORLYVAL tramway to connect to the RER B line, travel to Gare du Nord, and then take a train from Paris to Compiègne.
  2. From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG): Take the RER B line from the airport to Gare du Nord, and then the train to Compiègne. Alternatively, you can take a taxi to reach Compiègne in approximately 45 minutes.
  3. From Beauvais Airport: Compiègne can be reached by taxi in approximately 45 minutes.
